CHASITY

Chasity has been the rock in my life for the past four years, she was a former dancer and then started assisting with practices, performances and games for the following 4 years. She is also the #1 babysitter, helper and on hands gal for my family. I know I can trust her with my babies, my team and anything I'd ever need. She also knows me better than most people do just because of how much time we have spent together. So its fitting that she is named after the ROCK necklace with a splash of sherbet orange for Ames High where we first met when she was a tiny freshman and now has impacted my life in such a big way.

SARA

Sara and I grew up together being inseparable friends who told each other everything. I named this necklace for her because she is soft like the pink, her eyes are green, and the flower reminds me of one of the best bouquets of flowers I've ever received, you see we both entered a pageant in Omaha when I was 15, she 16, there was a TON of girls who were polished, taller, prettier etc. I remember us feeling pretty out of their league, I was the typical farm girl, she was the typical small town sweetheart competing against big city glam girls. Well long story short, we made top ten, then after an onstage interview session were BOTH announced as winners in our division! It was surreal and a memory I will never forget. She lives 3 hours away but we try to get our little girls together as often as possible!

CAROL

Carol and I worked together for 8 years at the Radio station. She was an amazing mentor who turned into a lifelong friend. She has transferred into management at the station, battled cancer, and been a shining example of a supportive wife and mother. I hope I can accomplish and be as respected in all my roles in life as Carol is. I named this necklace after Carol because she has sparkle and spreads her sparkle to everyone who meets her. You will not find a more caring individual, she is a big picture visionary with tons of class. So yes of course I would name the necklace that matches everything after her.

LESA

Lesa, everyone should have a Lesa in their life. Lesa is the type of friend who can say the things your mother wants to but you take it better from a friend. During my pregnancy's she would call and make sure I was staying off my feet, drinking water and getting enough sleep. During Nathan's accident she visited the most and she lives 40 min away. She watches over me and tells me when to slow down, she is very loving and our relationship has evolved to be as close as sisters. She not only watched over me as friend but she is the perfect mom, she always has a bandaid, sunscreen, extra sandwhich packed, anti-bacterial etc. When I look at this necklace I am reminded of the best vacation we went on with Lesa and her husband to the Whitehouse Sandals resort, the blue reminds me of the ocean and the crystal of the sand. It was a magical trip.

JULIE

Julie is so fun to be around, she was the class clown, the girl who has you constantly laughing and she is always the life of the party. Julie will tell you a memory we both share when she was not laughing-that would be when my horse bucked her off and she broke her wrist, yeah sorry about that Julie! Julie and I have many good memories during swing choir and vocal shows. During our careers we both traveled alot and would call when on the road to talk, and no matter how long it had been between chats one can always just pick right back up with out missing a beat with Julie. Julie has a son and daughter so this is the inspiration for this brown, pink and blue necklace. It is accented with silver. Julie has the original version.

KATIE

Katie is the prettiest red heads you will ever find. So poised and graceful, you would never know she lives in a house full of boys! I met Katie when newly pregnant with Joscelyn, it was exciting and new, we were also working together helping brides choose the dress they were destined to wear on their special day, she was wonderful, always so sweet to everyone she met. It was fun to listen to her talk about getting married and having babies someday and now here we are 8 years later with 5 between us and still great friends. Katie is like lace, just beautiful with out much effort. The amber colors of this necklace reminds me of her.

The center piece may not be able to be exactly duplicated as it is a custom item, but something similar can be done.

LINDA

Linda was one of the first people to welcome me to Ames and become like a favorite Aunt to me. We have house sat for her and watched her 3 daughters while they were gone on trips and love the time spent around her and her family, its often spent laughing. My husband and I share her as one of our BFF's, we go to lunch with her often. She loves Aqua, so much in fact her kitchen is painted this bright hue. One of our favorite things about Linda is how she tells it like it is, no fluff added, however she has a huge heart and would gladly help anyone.
